Welcome to the Evergreen library! Our library provides our students and staff access to a well-rounded collection of over 12,000 books. Students visit the library each week with their classes. Whether they are there for storytime, reading, doing research for a report, or looking for an Accelerated Reader book, we strive to make the library a place where all students feel welcome. Special Events Children's book author, Linda Bailey, visited Evergreen on May 13. She is the recent winner of the California Young Reader Medal and many other awards. Ms. Bailey spoke to our 1st - 3rd graders about her books and the inspiration and work that go into being an author. The children thoroughly enjoyed the informative and entertaining presentation. Come and enjoy Mrs. Nelson's Book Fair, May 18-22, in the multi-purpose room. There is a fabulous selection of books to choose from. The Teacher Wish List is available if you would like to purchase a book for your child's teacher. Thank you to all the wonderful parents who have been helping at the book fair. Happy Reading to all!
