First Weeks of School

We are off to a great start! The children seem to be adjusting to the kindergarten routine. Just some reminders:

Arrival:  School starts at 8:15.  Our doors will be open for students at 8:00.  Children may walk and talk on the blacktop until time to line up. The playground is closed before school.  If they have papers to return, remind them to get the papers out of their backpacks upon arrival.  Students arriving after the 8:15 bell will be marked tardy.

Dismissal:  As students are dismissed, please allow them a clear path through the gate.  Step aside if you see the line of bus riders as we need them to be able to see their way to the bus.  Once students are excused to their parent; we ask you to help them learn safety rules as you cross the street.  The kindergarten playground is NOT available for after school use.

* Parent volunteers:   If you are planning to help in the classroom, please get your TB shots taken care of as soon as you can.  You must have your application, copy of your driver's license, and verification of your TB test on file in the office before you can start helping in the class.
